On Friday, November 11th, 2022 the Royal Canadian Legion Cochrane Branch #15, will once again be hosting a short walk to the cenotaph with a ceremony to follow.
While the community is invited to participate, please note that cenotaph seating will be saved for the elderly and for veterans.
10:45am – Meet by the Legion to get organized for the walk to the cenotaph. Walk will go around the Legion starting on 5th Avenue, then over to 4th Avenue and around to Main Street (1st Ave W.), then on to the cenotaph where the ceremony will begin.
11:00am – Flag to be lowered, followed by a moment of silence.
11:05am – Speeches from various officials and organizations, as well as wreath placements.
