Your Guide to Cochrane’s
Must-Attend Events
Starts Here!
The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a nationwide walk that takes place each February, and raises money and awareness for people experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community.
Cochrane is participating on Saturday, February 28th and we want you to be a part of it!
Grab your friends, grab your family… your co-workers, whomever!
CNOY isn’t just a walk, it’s an opportunity to show our community members facing tough times that they are not alone. Fundraising provides vital support to local charities working on the front lines to provide essential services, and walking gives us a chance to connect with our community and to get some exercise.
Urbancasual.ca is walking again in 2026 and we’d love to have you / your family / your office etc walk with us!
To sign up & join the Urbancasual.ca team, visit: WALK THIS WAY
To sign up your own team, visit: I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN TEAM OR WALK ALONE
If you are unable to walk but would still like to donate to the cause and our team, visit: DONATE
Thank you in advance!
Helping Hands Society of Cochrane & Area connects with people in need to reduce vulnerability in our community.
Their barrier-free programs such as the Free Food Sheds, Harsh Weather Haven, Emergency Meals, Volunteer Drivers, Snow Helpers and Caring Neighbours — offer vital supports towards building a more resilient Cochrane.
