P3 Sports Inc. in Cochrane hosts a group of Czech hockey players (ages 12 – 18 years) this June and is looking for billet homes for them.
The details are as follows:
Arrive June 17, 2023
Depart July 17, 2023
They are part of a training camp that runs daily at the SLS Centre. Generally they are needed to be there between 8:30am – 4:30pm, but a schedule will be provided to each family with details.
They will have a few games – either evening or weekends. (One local tournament June 24 weekend.)
Looking for homes who can:
– take 1-2 Czech players in, (P3 can help with sourcing mattresses if needed).
– ensure they get 3 quality meals plus snacks per day.
– Show them some Canadian culture.
– engage them in English conversation. (Most have conversational english already)
Families will receive a weekly stipend of $225 per athlete to help with food and outings.
There is always the ability to share the month with a few families or to arrange car pooling with other families.
P3 Sports had 50+ Czech athletes in 2022 and our Czech partner has over 75 who would like to attend this year.
Families are needing to be firmed up by March 26, 2023.
