BEARSPAW FIRST NATION, CHINIKI FIRST NATION, GOODSTONEY FIRST NATION AND THE TOWN OF COCHRANE INVITE YOU TO ATTEND ODAGUGUCUYE APîîCIYABIC/BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS TRADITIONAL POWWOW

(Cochrane, AB) – On behalf of the four communities and in partnership with the venue host, Spray Lake Sawmills Centre, you are invited to mark your calendar and save the date for the Odagugiciye Apîîciyabic/Building Relationships Traditional Powwow on September 30th, 1:00pm – 8:00pm.

All are welcome to attend to learn and experience the beautiful Stoney Îethka culture through this collaboratively hosted powwow taking place on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be day of registration for dancers and all drum groups have been invited.

Since January 2022, Bearspaw First Nation, Chiniki First Nation, Goodstoney First Nation and Town of Cochrane have been working to strengthen their government-to-government relationships through learning, continued collaboration, and participation in the First Nation-Municipal Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI).
