Hear ye, hear ye!

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Cochrane Community Awards, an annual program that recognizes outstanding local citizens, community leaders, schools, businesses and organizations, who help make Cochrane a wonderful place to live.

These awards celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions in our community through a total of 13 award categories, including the prestigious Order of Cochrane.

The deadline to make a nominee submission is Friday, April 10th.

All nominees are recognized at the awards ceremony on Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at the Cochrane Ranchehouse.

If you know of any amazing Cochranites (see above) who exhibit all the qualities the 2020 Cochrane Community Awards committee is looking for, completing a nomination form is easy enough and can be done both online and the old fashioned way, with a pen and paper.

The Cochrane Community Awards program is overseen by a committee of local representatives, including: educators, seniors, businesses, sustainability champions, as well as the Cochrane Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Cochrane.

The program is funded through sponsorship from local groups and businesses who recognize the value in activities that encourage community building and making Cochrane a vibrant place to live.
