SPRING EQUINOX CEREMONY AT THE YURT

YOU ARE INVITED –

“We are in a transition which will be marked with The Spring Equinox (officially this Monday) and although it will technically be Spring, Alberta will throw us for it’s regular spring rollercoaster, where we may experience winter, spring and summer all in one day! I mean, we were out in a sweater with our son jumping on the trampoline for an hour yesterday in the hot sun and then shovelling snow in our parka this morning… wowza!

This transition tends to be a long one… snow may come and go and we won’t see green for some time. It can be frustrating and may create a feeling of impatience in us…. that long awaited summer is just around the corner…

Whenever there are these external factors at play that make us feel one way or another, it’s a helpful and often eye opening practice to recognize what may be being mirrored inside…

We are excited to share in this transition together at our Spring Equinox Ceremony. We will learn from nature, inquire with movement, breath, stillness and sound… and grow from one another, pause with some reflective prompts to take in this shift.

Our time together will look something like this:

– Intro’s and dive into the theme of the Spring Equinox
-Workshop – Kevin shares about the breathwork practice of Breathwave, Natalia shares about traditional tea ceremony, and Alexis shares about sound healing.
-Marni leads a short and gentle yoga practice
-Breathwork and integration led by Kevin
-Tea Ceremony & Sound Bowls led by Natalia and Alexis
-Silent journaling opportunity
-Sharing circle Goodbyes
