The Cochrane Outhouse Races take place in historic downtown Cochrane in late summer, where teams from local businesses and organizations push home made outhouse – race carts down First Street, chuck wagon-style.
All outhouses are to have a toilet inside, four people from the team will push and a fifth that rides on the “throne” inside. However creative you want to get with those basic rules is up to you! We welcome any and all interpretations and the crowd delights in seeing what our local business & philanthropic organizations come up with to take part in this fun event.
