Did you know that Home Reno Heaven is a fundraising venture that supports affordable housing in Cochrane? It is a store where you can buy gently used and in some cases new, home repair supplies like light fixtures, appliances, paint and lumber. You can also donate to this store, if you’ve recently done a reno and still have things in working order.
The best part? All the money stays right in Cochrane and goes back into funding affordable housing for Cochranites in need.
The but? Home Reno Heaven is mostly run by volunteers and they need some right now!
Pro-Tip: if you have textiles that are not suitable for the Clothesline and have rips or stains, there are blue bins in 3 locations around town that accept these items and also support affordable housing. (Lions Event Centre, Home Reno Heaven, Spray Lakes Rec Centre)
