It’s the most giving time of year, the Cochrane & Area Events Society (CAES) is back with their annual Stuff -a-Bus campaign in support of the Cochrane Activettes ‘Share Your Christmas’ Hamper program.
On Saturday, December 9 from 10 am to 3pm at the Canadian Tire store in Cochrane, families will see the automotive waiting room of Canadian Tire transformed into Santa’s territory.
This year, CAES has invited the Found Bookstore to help decorate the set for this year’s photo shoot, with a theme of “Storytime with Santa”. As a thank you for all donations, CAES will be offering free photos with Santa! To secure your spot with Santa, be sure to sign up on their website.
Southland and Colt buses will also be on-site to hold all the donations of new, unwrapped gifts for children and teenagers, non-perishable food items, gift cards, cash.
In previous years, CAES volunteers attended the Calgary Hitman’s Teddy Bear Toss (and will again this year on December 3rd), and brought some of those stuffies home to Cochrane to help bring Christmas Cheer.
