Today Bow Valley High School is asking you to join them in an assembly and walk in honour of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people.
Starting at 10am and featuring speakers from the Stoney Nakoda Nation, Bow Valley High School welcomes all residents who would like to show their support, take time to pause, gather and to walk together in remembrance.
Urbancasual.ca acknowledges that we live, work & play on treaty 7 territory, the traditional lands of the Stoney Nakoda peoples of the Chiniki, Bearspaw & Wesley Bands, the Tsuut’ina, Niitsitapi peoples of Siksika, Pikani & Kainai Band, as well as the homelands of the Metis Nation within region 3.
