Recap: Canada Day 2025 in Cochrane

Canada Day 2025 was not only well attended, but the day was epic for weather and the musical line-up at Mitford Park was definitely a summer highlight (so far… don’t forget to grab your Bow Valley Boot Stomp tickets for July 18/19). Thank you to all organizers, volunteers, performers, food trucks and sponsors and the Town of Cochrane (give feedback here) for providing an amazing day of free fun (plus shuttles!) for all of Cochrane to enjoy.

First up was the Canada Day breakfast and flag-raising at the Legion with,
 
Pancakes, sausages and coffee / juice.
 
 
followed by the Flag-Raising at the Cenotaph in Cochrane, AB (watch the video below).
The second part of the day took place at Mitford Park, organized by the Town of Cochrane and the Cochrane & Area Events Society (+ Quirk Social).
 
The day featured food truck fare, a jam packed stage line-up, family fun activities, a beer garden by Rocky View Brewing and the fireworks finale.
