A fire advisory has been issued for the Cochrane area as of Monday, May 1st, 2023 at 12pm.
During a fire advisory, open fires are allowed, but residents are reminded to be extra vigilant. Prior to starting a fire, it is suggested the area adjacent to the firepits is soaked thoroughly with water.
The fire advisory shall be in effect as long as the Fire Chief’s office deems the safety concern a risk. Details on what the fire advisory covers and all levels of fire bans: cochrane.ca/FireBan
