Do you have a child who loves to write?

The national education charity, Ripple Foundation, has announced the extension of its virtual creative ‘Write It Workshop’ program.

Running every Saturday from May 23rd – August 29th, these one-hour, free sessions are geared towards those in grades 4-8, and is designed to inspire creativity and confidence in our next generation of leaders.

These interactive sessions are designed by certified Ontario teachers and are approved by the Toronto Public Library. Each class focuses on various aspects of story writing, such as brainstorming, plot development and character creation.

Each workshop will be hosted on Zoom and is led by volunteers who have teaching experience. and who are passionate about reading and writing.

This is the perfect tool for parents and carers who are looking for educational and entertaining ways to keep their kids busy this summer, as most continue to juggle working from home and schooling their children due to Covid-19.
