Cochrane Pride Week kicks off Sunday, August 21st at 4pm, with a weeks worth of events for youth, adults and families-alike!
For the 3rd year in a row, the flag will be raised at the Cochrane Ranchehouse to kick off the week! As well, Cochrane will celebrate its 1st Pride Parade.
Here is a list of Pride Events happening around town:
Sunday, August 21st
4pm – Flag Raising at the Cochrane Ranchehouse *Everyone Welcome
Monday, August 22nd
12pm to 6pm – Pride Prep Party and T-shirt making at The CLUB Teen Drop In – 5th Avenue (behind McDonald’s) *Ages 13 – 17
Tuesday, August 23rd
3pm to 6pm – Art in the Park @ the Mitford Pond Stage *Ages 13 – 17
7:30pm to 10pm – Own the Page @ Found Bookstore in Historic Downtown on 1st Street
Wednesday, August 24th
1pm – 1:45pm – 1st Annual Cochrane Pride Parade – Love Lives Here – 1st Street in Historic Downtown Cochrane *Everyone welcome
2pm – 4pm – The Rocky View Brewing Company in Historic Downtown hosts an ‘After Party Tea Dance‘ *Ages 18+
2pm – 6pm – The CLUB Night Club Pride Edition at 5th Avenue (behind McDonald’s) *Ages 13 – 17
