The Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre is excited to announce that the community will have free access to the Spray Park seven days a week, as the Bow RiversEdge Campground Society (BRECS), a joint venture of the Cochrane Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Cochrane, has committed to a new five-year sponsorship of the Spray Park.
“Thanks to the commitment and contributions of supporters such as BRECS, we are in a good position to continue to better serve the community. We are the centre in Cochrane that brings thousands of people in the community and surrounding areas together to enjoy fun activities. It is our desire to ensure SLSFSC is accessible to everyone by removing barriers. This is one of the best ways to encourage kids to be active and have some fun”, says Heath Miller, COO, SLSFSC.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Spray park hours will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m., where the community can access the spray park through the outside gate (no access through the Jayman BUILT Aquatic Centre).
The spray park will be open from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. but will ONLY be available to SLSFSC members and drop-in users users, with access available only through the pool.
There will also be picnic tables and umbrellas set up on the grass area and snacks will be available for cart purchase on some days.
BRECS is pleased to support summer family fun at the SLSFSC Spray Park this year and for the next four years.
The Spray Park will open for the season on June 4 and will be open seven days a week until September 2 (weather dependent).
