BIZ 4 HER Launches with First Sponsor, Canlin Energy

Canlin Energy Corporation has lead the way as Big Hill Haven’s first gold level sponsor of the BIZ 4 HER corporate sponsorship program.

“We are excited to launch our new sponsorship program and thrilled that Canlin Energy has stepped up to be our first partner. Canlin Energy has been a great supporter of Big Hill Haven for years. This $5,000 Gold Level sponsorship helps us to provide the supports and shelter that the women and the families in our care need.”

“Canlin Energy joined the BIZ 4 HER sponsorship program because we have a responsibility to support the communities where we work and operate. It is an honour to be the first BIZ 4 HER community partner and I urge any and all businesses in and around Cochrane to follow suit. This program allows us to make a positive, measurable impact and is an incredible opportunity to ensure the safety of women and children in our community.”

says Tim Adams, District Superintendent at Wildcat Hills
Gas Plant.

BIZ 4 HER is an annual sponsorship program that enables businesses to make a difference and to demonstrate their commitment to helping end domestic abuse in our community.

Sponsor partners will be recognized through various means including partnership promotional material, recognition on the website, social media promotion, opportunities to participate in fundraising events, and media exposure depending on the sponsor level. There are four sponsorship tiers ranging from platinum to bronze.

The need for domestic violence services continues to rise in Cochrane & Area. From October to December 2020, Big Hill Haven served 22 clients and provided 150 nights of shelter.
