The ribbon will be cut on the new Protective Services Building at 11 am on Saturday, July 15. The ribbon cutting will feature speeches by Town of Cochrane, RCMP officials, and visiting dignitaries, followed by a community celebration than runs until 2 pm. The community event will include: displays of RCMP and Municipal Enforcement vehicles and equipment, a showcase of historical memorabilia from the Cochrane RCMP, a round dance and smudge, Canine Unit demonstration, and entertainment for children. Partner agencies of protective services will also host information displays, providing valuable insights into their community-based initiatives.
