The 2020 Cochrane Community Awards has been postponed until the fall (as a precaution) in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The nomination period will however, remain open indefinitely through spring/summer, with a new deadline to be announced later this summer.
Cochranites are encouraged to continue supporting each other, helping their neighbours, and to nominate those who are making a difference in our community despite challenging circumstances.
The Cochrane Community Awards is an annual program that recognizes outstanding local citizens, community leaders, schools, businesses and organizations who help make Cochrane a great place to live. The awards celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements and contributions in our community through a total of 13 award categories, including the prestigious Order of Cochrane, presented by Cochrane’s mayor and council. All nominees are recognized at the awards ceremony.
Completing a nomination is easy through the online form. The option to nominate by completing and submitting a paper application form is also available.
