2021 REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY NOW AVAILABLE
Cochrane, AB – Despite the challenges of 2020, the Town of Cochrane ended the year on budget with a number of successful projects and initiatives achieved.
The annual Report to the Community provides a comprehensive view of the 2020 consolidated financial statements and a look at the Town’s many accomplishments.
“While 2020 brought unprecedented challenges, I’m very proud of the Town’s response and everything we accomplished despite the pandemic,” said Mayor Genung. “From opening a new bridge, the upgrade of Railway Street, a full year of COLT service, and a number of social and economic support initiatives, the Town has many accomplishments to recognize and celebrate.”
“I am very proud to work every day with Town colleagues who consistently demonstrate their commitment to public service and take pride in delivering essential services to Cochrane residents,” he added.
Despite the changing economic environment, the Town’s 2020 consolidated financial statements continued to reflect a strong financial picture of a municipality investing in infrastructure to facilitate economic growth and build a more resilient Town.
