The Cochrane Pet Expo 2025 is just around the corner and promises to be the ultimate gathering for pet owners and enthusiasts alike at the Cochrane & District Agricultural Society Park on May 31st, 2025.
From exciting Cochrane pet activities to informative sessions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So mark your calendars for and get ready to join a community that cherishes the bond between people and their pets—because this year’s pet owners event is one you won’t want to miss!
Organizer Kailey Mitchell says, “This event has grown into such a joyful gathering for the community and their
beloved pets. Get ready for a day filled with furry friends, fantastic shows, and family fun!”, says Mitchell. “We can’t wait to see Cochrane come out to celebrate their furry friends and support local organizations.”
Admission is just $2/person or $5/family, and the first 100 families through the gate will score a swag bag filled with samples, coupons, and surprises.
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome to attend – please be sure they’re comfortable in crowds.

Come and see the Dachshund Races Dash – Tiny legs, big energy! Cheer on the town’s speediest sausages in this hilarious, high-stakes race. (12pm) OR,

● Pet Photo Booth – Capture a fun keepsake of you & your pet.
● Butterfield Acres – Meet and greet farm animals in this hands-on experience.
● Marketplace Vendors – Discover unique pet products, services, and more.
● Rescue Row – Connect with local rescue organizations and learn how you can support or adopt.
● Food Trucks – Grab a bite from a lineup of local favourites while you enjoy the day.
With a variety of food trucks on-site, there will be ample opportunities to indulge in delicious treats while enjoying the event.
