> Saturday, August 1 – 9am to 2pm Cochrane Farmers’ Market – 2020 Market by the Bow, 10am to 2pm Mini Pop-up Indoor Market at Evexia Travel, 6pm to 8pm support the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane and Area with the Chase the Ace fundraiser at The Venue Bar & Grill.

> Sunday, August 2 – 10am to 2pm Bearspaw Farmers Market, 2pm – Free music pop-up concert (outdoor and distanced)

I hosted my first Zoom cocktail (and mocktail) happy hour with the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane and Area yesterday. I taught them a few favourites & a few new drinks that can all be made with your favourite alcohol (or no alcohol!) & using ingredients you likely already have in your fridge. The conversation was spirited & it was awesome to help this group raise some funds. Oh BTW, I am Pro Serve Certified & I was a bartender on George Street in Newfoundland back when I was a youngin'. Philip will be down at Riverfront Park in Cochrane today from 2pm to 5:36pm (216 minutes), to honour the lives of residential school children in Canada who did not return home to their families. He will be available to share his own story, accept a log or two for his fire & to pass sandwiches through the smoke to feed those honored.
