The 4th Annual Cochrane Food Fest returns this Sunday, August 11th with a bigger-than-ever culinary experience to enjoy. This year, the Cochrane Food Fest moves to the Cochrane AG Society Grounds (1A & Hwy 22) with more food trucks, more shade and for the first time ever, parking will be available for this event.

This event has proven to be one of Cochrane’s Yummiest & Tastiest events of the year, with attendees being able to eat their way through food vendors, food trucks and artisan food producers – tacos, to home-baked goods + authentic Indian delights + more… there will be something to satisfy every palate.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Cochrane Food Fest to a new, larger location this year,” said Event Coordinator, Kailey Mitchell of Quirk Social. “The additional space allows us to welcome more vendors, as well as provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for our attendees.”

Attendees will also enjoy musical performances throughout the day, noting Airdrie’s Hayley Isabel and welcoming back Anna Lewis to the Food Fest stage. More musical acts will be announced over the coming days, so be sure to follow our social pages for updates.

This year’s Kids Zone Sponsor is The Messy Moose Studio of Cochrane, who will be showcasing activities for the whole family, including face-painting & sparkle tattoos (always a favourite).

“We will have a small marketplace again this year with take home items, as well the Helping Hands Society will be collecting food donations for the Free Food Sheds in Cochrane” said Mitchell.

Due to a drop in sponsorship funds to support the operational costs of this event, a small entrance fee of $2 per person or $5 per family will be charged at the gate.
