This year, the Mayor’s Invitational Golf Tournament will support Big Hill Haven.
Big Hill Haven serves as a vital resource in Cochrane, offering refuge and support to those in crisis. Their mission is to provide safety, resources, and advocacy for individuals experiencing family violence, helping them regain control of their lives.
Last year, Big Hill Haven assisted 106 families, ensuring they have access to safe housing and necessary resources.
By raising awareness and funds, the Mayor’s Invitational helps bridge the resource gap, enhancing Big Hill Haven’s ability to serve more families. The support not only alleviates immediate needs for the shelter, but also empowers long-term recovery and stability for those they assist.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Iyarhe Nakoda Nations, Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuut’ina, and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta District 4.
