Spring has sprung, the snow has melted and the Cochrane Community Clean-Up is back to breathe new life into our beloved parks, pathways and green spaces.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 25th from 10am to 1pm and get ready to roll up your sleeves. Whether you are a long-time resident or are new to the area, this annual event is the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbours, enjoy the fresh air and to keep Cochrane beautiful.

This is a family-friendly event and everyone is invited to participate.

How to Get Involved?

Step 1: Check out the Interactive Map to see the designated areas that need assistance.

Step 2: Sign up to participate, noting the area you wish to work on. If you are a large group, also tell us your group size so they can make sure to have enough bags at the pick-up location.

Step 3: Look for the Community-wide Clean-Up sign at your designated location. You will be provided with garbage bags, but may wish to bring your own gloves. Once you have filled the garbage bags and have finished your clean-up, bring the bags back to their original pick-up location. The town of Cochrane Parks & Open Spaces team will collect and dispose of the waste.

& a $200 grocery gift card for collecting the most bags of trash!

Visit a local restaurant or cafe, take a walk along the river,

shop in Historic Downtown or

check out one of Cochrane’s awesome events on our calendar.
