February 2025 Cochrane Photo Contest Finalists

IT’S TIME TO VOTE COCHRANE – We have SIX finalists for our February 2025 Cochrane photo contest!

1. H. Ryan – This photo was taken from my kitchen window in Sunset on the morning of February 12th, 2025.

2. L. Cornes – Ice formation at big hill spings, February 1st, 2025.

3. E. Browerman – I was testing my camera with my old grandpa’s manual lens on a winter day at Cochrane Ranch. The cold, quiet landscape had almost no color—just black and white. Using multiple exposure, I created a dreamy, layered image that feels both nostalgic and timeless. This place is special to me, and this photo is part of a series capturing its beauty in winter.

4. L. Peterson – During the long Cold snap down by the bridge.

5. N. Heazell – I snapped this photo in… I think it was William Camden Park in the centre of Cochrane. This little guy was with a couple of chums hiding in the brush. Taken on a day when it climbed out of the recent chill temperatures.

6. K. Tuff – The photo was taken on the west side of Cochrane, by Fireside.
