Cochrane Premier of “The Secret Marathon” starring Martin Parnell

Join us for a powerful evening of purpose, connection, and impact.

The Secret Marathon tells the inspiring true story of Afghan women defying danger to reclaim their freedom and run in the Marathon of Afghanistan. This film is more than a documentary—it’s a call to action and stars our very own Martin Parnell.

We’re proud to bring this film to Cochrane as a fundraiser supporting Classrooms Without Walls, with a goal to help 10 Afghan women earn their GEDs online—a first step toward higher education and greater freedom. Since the filmin gof this film, the few rights that women had have been stripped away including access to education.

Our aim is to raise money for 5 women to complete their GED’s at a cost of $1000 each. Once they achieve their diploma, the doors may open for thme to continue with post secondary education. Classrooms without Walls allows for this opportunity to be possible.
