This signature town-wide weekend explores five districts: Western Heritage, Historic Downtown, Wild West Carnival, Living Land & Culture and of course, the Cochrane Lions Rodeo.
The Friday kick-off to the weekend features a day of free family-fun at the Rodeo Grounds with a Community Pancake Breakfast, Free Admission Friday at the Rodeo, a Community BBQ (sponsored by Calgary Co-Op) and an evening Family Cabaret with Matt & the Johner Boys (sponsored by Burnco).
On Saturday you can look forward to the Cochrane Farmers Market, Art in the Park. the Stockmen’s Museum & Brand Library, Indigenous Market Vendors / Demonstrations / Teachings, Cowboy Poetry, a Wild West Carnival, a New Law Concert, a Rodeo Cabaret (18+) + more!
Sunday features more of the same from Saturday (so if you miss something, you can catch it for a second day), a Make A Wish Charity Fun Run, an Old Time Family Picnic and a 1911 Cochrane Train Station Re-Enactment.
Monday is the Labour Day parade, with pre-parade festivities starting at 9am and the parade at 10am.

Calgary’s own NewLaw brings their signature country-pop sound to the heart of town, blending gritty harmonies and heartfelt songwriting with classic country roots and modern pop energy.
