The Special Olympics Alberta Bow Valley charity auction is back from November 23rd to 29th (2025), offering a variety of items and experiences for you to bid on.
As an almost entirely self-funded organization, all donations will go directly to the Special Olympics Bow Valley programs of Cross Country Skiing, 5 Pin Bowling, Athletics, Pickleball & the Fitness / Running Club.
Believing that sport should be accessible for all, the proceeds from this auction will provide uniforms for our athletes & volunteers, fund special events or athlete/volunteer recognition ceremonies, cover operational costs, provide coaching/training opportunities and to provide transportation to out of town competitions.
Special Olympics is committed to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disability through sport. The Bow Valley community program began in 2018 & at present we have 5 very successful and thriving programs: Cross Country Skiing , 5 Pin Bowling, Athletics, Pickleball & our Fitness/Running Club. Our hope is to expand our programming to offer as many of the 18 sports offered by Special Olympics Alberta as we can accommodate.
Special Olympics Canada is the ONLY organization in Canada to provide grassroots sport programs & competition opportunities, from the local level to the world level, for people with intellectual disabilities.
