Join us for an intimate evening of music with Dom Adams and Jacob Brodovsky , two incredible singer-songwriters hailing from Winnipeg, MB.

Dom Adams is an alternative-folk artist whose deeply personal songs explore the emotional depths of loss, loneliness, and resilience. Her intricate melodies seamlessly blend light and darkness, evoking the early warmth of Joni Mitchell’s “Chelsea Morning” alongside the haunting beauty of Gillian Welch’s storytelling.

Jacob Brodovsky , named the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards’ Songwriter of the Year for his debut album I Love You and I’m Sorry , brings his own brand of heartfelt songwriting to the stage. Together, Dom and Jacob found unexpected synergy last winter, collaborating to write an album over a season.

At this special event, they will perform a collection of their solo work as well as the songs they’ve crafted together. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see two of Winnipeg’s brightest folk talents in an intimate setting.

Dom Adams is a captivating alternative-folk musician whose musical exploration transcends conventional boundaries. There is a deeply ingrained, hard-won optimism in this Winnipeg-based musician’s tunes – bravely sharing the blunt pain of living with loss and loneliness, holding her shadows with tenderness. Effortlessly weaving tones of darkness and light throughout her inventive, intricate melodies and songwriting – imagine “Chelsea Morning”-era Joni Mitchell’s butterscotch sunlight flowing intuitively into the darkly glittering balladeer-ing of Gillian Welch – keep an eye on DomAdams, a prairie artist to watch in the coming year.

Jacob Brodovsky is a singer songwriter from Winnipeg MB, treaty one territory. He was recently named 2023 songwriter of the year from the Canadian folk music awards for his debut full length album I love you and I’m sorry.

Dom and Jacob found themselves collaborating one day last winter and accidentally wrote an album together. They are excited to share a collection their own respective songs and the ones they have joined forces on.
