Outside\, you have a limited time to capture the scene as the light will change. Inside the studio\, this same efficiency will keep your painting fresh. \nThis class is for everyone. Beginner\, Intermediate or Expert. We can all learn from some constructive criticism. The class is structured with demonstrations of each stage of a painting\, followed by individual critiques of each stage of the students’ progress. Outside\, you have a limited time to capture the scene as the light will change. Inside the studio\, this same efficiency will keep your painting fresh. \nThis class is for everyone. Beginner\, Intermediate or Expert. We can all learn from some constructive criticism. The class is structured with demonstrations of each stage of a painting\, followed by individual critiques of each stage of the students’ progress. DESCRIPTION:Sip and Sculpt Fridays! \nJoin Michael Emery for a hands-on soapstone carving workshop. Enjoy some refreshments from our cash bar while you learn the fundamentals of shaping stone and creating a finished sculptural piece! \nParticipants will learn basic carving techniques\, safe material handling\, and simple hand-sanding methods using water to reduce dust.
