After a two-year hiatus, Cochrane Family and Community Support Services is bringing back its popular Block Party trailer program.
The seasonal trailer program offers successful applicants with additional resources, tools and equipment needed to host a successful block party event. The rentable trailer comes equipped with event essentials, including invitations, signage, traffic cones, a griddle for cooking and detailed instructions on how to put together a great community party.
Those with an upcoming community event can submit an application to book the fully equipped event trailer. The free community-offered program is available for event booking starting May 19 through to Sep 3, 2023.
“We are so thrilled to bring this program back to the community as it is a great resource for building relationships and fostering strong community connection,” says Kim Krawec, Manger of FCSS. “The Block Party trailer is a fantastic resource for those in the community to utilize when planning their next community event.”
In addition, to help further encourage and foster community connection, FCSS is hosting a Block Party Kick Off event on June 17, 1-4pm, Historic Cochrane Ranche. Come check out the Block Party Trailer and connect with your community!
