DESCRIPTION:Sip and Sculpt Fridays! \nJoin Michael Emery for a hands-on soapstone carving workshop. Enjoy some refreshments from our cash bar while you learn the fundamentals of shaping stone and creating a finished sculptural piece! \nParticipants will learn basic carving techniques\, safe material handling\, and simple hand-sanding methods using water to reduce dust. With the ability to choose from a small set of pre-selected shapes and designs\, participants will be able to create a finished sculptural piece.
