SUMMARY:KIMMETT CUP 2026
DESCRIPTION:This year donations will be split among the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Flow Through Fund\, Helping Hands\, Helping Families Handle Cancer\, and The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. \nThe Kimmett Cup is a 3-on-3 pond hockey tournament in Cochrane\, Alberta that takes place the second weekend in February every year. Games are played outdoors at Mitford Pond and indoors at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre. Games consist of two 15 minutes halves with a 5 minute intermission. Each team must consist of 6-10 players with a minimum of 2-3 female players per team (depending on the size of the team). There are three divisions – competitive\, recreational\, and fun. \nThe weekend includes games on Friday evening and Saturday throughout the day\, followed by a banquet including a live auction. A silent auction is set up throughout the day at the Spray Lake Sawmills Recreation Centre as well as at the banquet.  Registration opens in October and is open to around 50 teams. \nVISIT: KIMMETTCUP.COM \nREGISTER A TEAM OR GET YOUR TICKETS FOR THE WRAP UP PARTY! \n
