DESCRIPTION:This Mental Health Week\, we’re honored to host Wayfinders Wellness Society. They provide crucial\, free peer-led support and programs for those who have served our communities and country: first responders\, military personnel\, veterans\, and their families\, who are living with PTSD injury\, and in 2024 they served a record 1628 peers and their family members. This is a unique and valuable resource located on a working cattle ranch on the edge of Cochrane. \nJoin us to learn how Wayfinders Wellness Society empowers these individuals and how you can help spread the word and support their vital services in our community. \nRefreshments will be served. \nRegistration opens at 10:30 am on Saturday\, April 5.

DESCRIPTION:Youth Unplugged event. – This one-day free impactful workshop is geared towards our youth between the ages of 13 and older.\n\nMAY 10TH – 10am to 3pm\nKing’s Gate Church\n53 West Aarsby Road\, Cochrane\n\n\n\nQuick overview:\n\nYouth Unplugged is dedicated to promoting mental wellness and resilience among young people in Cochrane and the surrounding communities. Youths from diverse backgrounds will come together to share experiences\, learn\, and take part in meaningful conversations about mental health.\n\nBy fostering open dialogue and engagement\, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and empower young people\nto seek support without fear or hesitation.\n\nKey notes:\n\n\nThe event is free\n\n\nYouths will be provided with breakfast and lunch and a swag bag\n\n\nWe have amazing prizes – 3 gift card worth $50 each donated by the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane – Shredz\, Amazon and Winners and two (2) one day passes to spray lakes.\n\n\nAll you have to do is show up\n\n\n#MyReachAlberta
