DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a Day of Skateboarding\, Music & Community Fun\n\nDATE: SATURDAY\, JUNE 6TH\nTIME: KIDS & TEENS 10AM – 12PM | OPEN JAM 2PM – 4PM\nLOCATION: CENTRAL PARK (ACROSS FROM 60 EMBERSIDE GRN) \n\nWe’re celebrating the grand opening of the new skatepark in Fireside Central Park with a full day of community fun. \nJoin us on Saturday\, June 6\, as we officially open one of Fireside’s newest gathering spaces with skateboarding sessions\, live music\, food trucks\, giveaways\, and plenty of excitement for all ages.  \nWhether you’re stepping on a skateboard for the very first time or already landing tricks\, this event is all about bringing the community together and making the most of this incredible new space. \n\n\nMorning Session: Kids & Teens Coaching | 10am – 12pm\n\n\nRegistration Required \n\n\nThe morning session is dedicated to young riders (13 and under) looking to learn\, improve skills\, and build confidence at the skatepark.  \nLed by experienced skateboard coaches\, this session will give kids and teens the opportunity to:  \n\nLearn skateboarding basics \nPractice techniques safely \nBuild confidence on different features \nConnect with other young riders in the community \n\nIf participants don’t have their own equipment\, skateboards and safety gear will be available for use during the event. We want everyone to have the chance to join in\, learn\, and enjoy the experience. \nSpots are limited\, please register below to participate. \n\nRegister for Session\n\n\nAfternoon Open Jam  | 2pm – 4pm\n\n\nOpen to Everyone & All Wheels Welcome \n\n\nIn the afternoon\, the skatepark opens up for a community-wide jam session.  \nThis session is all about having fun\, trying out the new features\, and enjoying the atmosphere together.  \nWhether you skate or just want to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere\, everyone’s welcome. \n\n\nAbout the Fireside Skatepark \n\n\nDesigned as a fun and welcoming space for riders of different ages and skill levels\, the Fireside Skatepark adds another active outdoor amenity to the community.  \nThe park features a mix of skate elements and flow areas designed for progression\, creativity\, and everyday use—creating a place where kids\, teens\, families\, and friends can gather\, stay active\, and connect outdoors.  \nThis project would not have been possible without the support of our incredible sponsors and partners who helped bring the Fireside Skatepark to life.  \nThank you for investing in spaces that encourage recreation\, connection\, and active living for families and youth in our community.
