SUMMARY:Welcome Spring: A Guided Meditation
DESCRIPTION:A guided experience to reduce stress and unwind\, ending by the fire with curated tea and Chef inspired snacks \nWinter doesn’t always slow us down. Often it does the opposite\, keeping us moving while quietly wearing us out. As the light returns\, many bodies are still holding tension\, fatigue\, and a sense of bracing. \nThis guided walking meditation offers a gentle way to re-emerge. Not by pushing into spring\, but by letting the body gradually sense more space\, warmth\, and ease.\nRather than sitting still\, we’ll use slow\, mindful walking\, breath awareness\, and guided meditation to support the nervous system as it transitions between seasons. Walking meditation can feel more natural and accessible than seated practice\, especially for those who find stillness challenging or who feel more at ease outdoors. \nWe’ll move at a relaxed\, accessible pace through Riverfront Park in Cochrane \, allowing time to notice subtle shifts in the body\, breath\, and environment. We’ll finish gathered around a public fire pit \, where you’re invited to warm up\, relax\, and enjoy artisanal tea and hand-crafted snacks prepared by Chef H . \nThis is not a fitness walk or a casual meetup. It’s a structured\, facilitated meditation experience designed to help you leave feeling calmer and more grounded. \nWhat to Expect\n-A welcoming orientation and clear structure\n-A slow\, guided walking meditation focused on stress reduction\n-Simple\, practical meditation cues you can use in daily life\n-Time to warm up and integrate around the fire\n-Tea and gluten free snacks prepared by Chef H\n-Small gift to take home\nNo prior meditation experience is needed. \nThis Experience Is For You If You:\n-Feel stressed\, overwhelmed\, or mentally busy\n-Want to learn meditation in a practical\, approachable way\n-Prefer movement and being outdoors over sitting still\n-Are looking for a calm\, intentional winter evening\n-Want an experience that feels grounding\, warm\, and well-held \nImportant Notes\n-This is an educational\, experiential offering and is not therapy or medical treatment.\n-The pace is slow and accessible; you’re always welcome to pause or adjust as needed.\n-Please dress warmly for winter conditions and bring anything that helps you stay comfortable (layers\, gloves\, thermos\, etc.).
