There is a small kitchen area (kettle\, coffee make\, fridge) and washroom available for the drop-in sessions. This passive drop in program invites children of all ages to explore the Obie mobile projector\, an engaging educational tool that encourages creative thinking\, problem solving\, and learning through play. \nThe Obie mobile projector offers a wide variety of activities including interactive brain games\, movement based challenges\, skill building experiences\, and playful learning opportunities that appeal to many interests and ages. Children can move\, explore\, discover\, and engage with activities that support curiosity and hands on learning in a fun and welcoming space. \nFamilies and caregivers are welcome to stay and participate at any time throughout the afternoon. Enjoy some refreshments from our cash bar while you learn the fundamentals of shaping stone and creating a finished sculptural piece! \nParticipants will learn basic carving techniques\, safe material handling\, and simple hand-sanding methods using water to reduce dust. With the ability to choose from a small set of pre-selected shapes and designs\, participants will be able to create a finished sculptural piece.
