An expert lyric poet writing at the intersection of memory and pain\, Veprinska fearlessly traces intergenerational histories of struggle and survival. This collection confronts the indelible marks left by immigration\, the Holocaust\, Canadian settler-colonialism\, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
