SUMMARY:2nd Annual Film Festival & Silent Auction
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to present our 2nd Annual Film Festival\, combined with our annual Silent Auction Fundraiser! \nDate: Thursday\, March 26\, 2026\nTime: Doors at 5:30\, movies start at 6pm\nLocation: Cochrane Movie House\nTickets: $10/member ; $15/non-member \nJoin us for an evening of independent cycling films\, provided by the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. We’ll be showcasing ndependent cycling films\, over a couple of hours at the Cochrane Movie House\, with an intermission to socialize\, purchase snacks and beverages and bid on some silent auction items provided by local businesses. Doors open at 5:30 with silent auction items on display in the lobby. Films will begin at 6PM. There will be the opportunity to get your last bids in at the end of the evening after the films. This is a family friendly event. \nAdvertising Opportunity: Do you want your logo on the big screen\, and in our program\, we have advertising opportunities (cost is $400) for this event to help offset the ticket sale cost.

DESCRIPTION: BIKE COCHRANE BIKE SWAP\nSponsored by Southbow Landing & Qualico communities!\nSunday April 26th\, 2026\n***new location – sls centre – curling rink***\n9AM- 10AM → Bike in-take \n1030AM – 2PM → Bike sale (no sales before 1030AM) \n2PM – 230PM → Unsold bikes (hopefully none!)/cash sale pick-up \nBIKE COCHRANE BIKE SWAP RULES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY \n\n\nRegistration Fee: sellers will pay $15 to register up to 3 bikes. If you are selling more than 3 bikes\, you will pay another $15. Non-refundable. Day of registration is $30 – CASH ONLY. \n\n\nBike Cochrane\, affiliated sponsors & volunteers are not responsible for any lost\, stolen or damaged items. \n\n\nEquipment consigned should be in good working order and clean\, no broken or damaged items please. Bike Cochrane reserves the right to not accept items that appear damaged. Safety bike checks can be done at Bike Bros or Big Hill Cycle. There will be no bike checks at the swap. \n\n\nSellers determine the sale price of their bike(s). \n\n\nPrices for items cannot be changed during the swap without approval of the seller\, if present. \n\n\nSales can be completed by cash\, or e-transfer directly to the seller. \n\n\nIf the buyer wishes to use a credit card through Bike Cochrane’s Square system\, an additional 2.5% of bike cost will be charged at the buyer’s expense. Bike Cochrane will not profit from the bike sale. Bike Cochrane will then send an e-transfer to the seller for the amount of the bike sale within a week. \n\n\nItems cannot be placed on hold during the swap. \n\n\nAll sales are ‘as is’. \n\n\nAll sales are final. No refunds will be given. \n\n\nAll unsold items must be picked up at the end of the swap between 2PM and 230PM. Unless notified\, you must come in person to find out if your bike sold. \n\n\nREGISTRATION CLOSES AT 9PM WEDNESDAY APRIL 22.
